I shouldn't have bought them, I've no idea why I did because I knew what would happen. There is no way I can limit myself when there is something so delicious and yummy lurking inside my kitchen cupboard! Living along can be good, very good at times. There is no one to negotiate with, I can do whatever I like to my home such as paint every room bright pink if the mood takes me without having to consult anyone else but it also brings a lot of bad things such as not having to anyone to justify my eating too. I can easily eat a full packet of biscuits (like I did today) without anyone seeing it.
I have no breakfast, which is very normal for me as I don't have any appetite at all in the mornings. At 10am I took the mini-me to collect my shopping from Asda which is where the item in question was part of the collection order. We put it away and then headed out to a country park as today was the last day with my hire car. We went for a lovely walk around the loch which was just over 5000 steps according to my trusty pedometer. For lunch I had 2 rolls and turkey breast, which is when the petticoat crime happened. I only intended to have one but one turned into two which turned into 3 which turned into 5 as I gave one to the mini-me.
The car went back about 3pm and my dad kindly drove behind me so he could give me a lift home afterwards but instead we went back to his where my mum made me dinner. It was a small-ish portion of chicken korma with rice which was a perfect sizes portion but with only half a chicken breast in it, I would have liked a bit more chicken. The mini-me and I took a taxi home from my parents about 7.30pm (sob for having no car!), I got her into bed and proceeded to make myself a packet of mild curry Super Noodles and a cup of tea.
Overall my eating was terrible today. I had nothing to kick start the day off, I ate 5 bits of petticoat tail biscuits, I then had a packet of Super Noodles at 8pm. It could have been worse and it has been worse in the past, a lot worse which is why I am battling this weight now.
Well my current weight is.... *drum roll*....
18st 13lbs
265lbs
I really don't know what my ideal weight should be, I've read online it should be between 8 and 10st which means I looking at a weight loss of roughly 8/9st to get myself into a healthy BMI range. My current BMI range is 'Very Obese' according to the NHS Choices website. Tomorrow I plan to do much better as I literally have no biscuits, cakes, crisps or chocolate in the house now. Dinner is going to be homemade burgers made from scratch which is something I've never made before but looking forward to trying and my mini goal for the day is to have breakfast. Whether it is toast, porridge or cereal. I need to eat something regardless of my lack of morning appetite!
